Billy Ballenger is the Co-Founder of a life changing school assembly program, Break the Grey, that presents multi-media presentations with college age interns performing skits, and Billy as the keynote speaker. With a passion to motivate today's youth, Break the Grey, offers a message of integrity and absolutes to this generation; bringing hope and inspiring teens to live and not die. Billy is also the founder and lead singer of the band Ballenger that headlines all Break the Grey concert events following a week of assemblies. Billy found his passion for music as a young boy growing up in Indiana. He remembers playing old records while he slept to memorize the lyrics. Yet as a child, he was troubled and bullied and then became the bully, which ultimately led to juvenile incarceration.

By age eighteen Billy became a young married father living the party life. Burglaries and violence prompted a SWAT team to raid the Ballenger home where he and his wife were arrested. Their 9 month old daughter was taken away and they were each sentenced to six years in prison with the Indiana Department of Corrections. While serving time in prison, Billy found the hope of Jesus Christ and his life was radically changed. He and his wife were miraculously released from prison one year early and received full custody of their daughter. Billy then began to take steps toward pursuing his childhood dream of being a singer. Through years of hard work, his music finally developed into a professional career that has led to performances in China, Russia, The United States, Canada, multiple television appearances and more. Ballenger has an expansive resume with enormous passion and experience. This band's Pop/Rock style features a unique way of integrating crowd participation that will not be easily forgotten. With songs that touch the heart, a passion for the Lord, coupled with a God-given ability to captivate an audience, Ballenger has impacted thousands of lives. With plans being made, contracts being signed, and collaborations in the works, the positive impact on this generation has no limits.
