Gavin Adcock, 23, a year-old Georgia native born and raised in Watkinsville. I’m in my last semester at Georgia Southern University wrapping up my business management degree. 4 years of my college career was dedicated to playing football for the university, including lettering every season and 2 bowl wins. I grew up working on my family’s cattle farm since I was able to walk. My dream career as a kid was to ride bulls in the PBR. When I was back in high school, I started writing songs but never really perused the idea heavily. In the spring of 2021, I tore my knee up during practice and had major surgery. Off my feet, for 6 weeks, I dove headfirst into songwriting. I made a music Instagram posting one original “We Love Football” and a handful of cover videos that had solid success. After a while of posting covers, I promised myself that the next song I released would be professionally done in a studio. July 13th, I went to Full Moon recording studio and cut my first single, “Ain’t No Cure”.
August 12th, “Ain’t No Cure” hit all platforms and is now on a tear across the USA and some parts of the world.
